Don’t See the Faults to Reach Beauty

Mirza Gholam Reza Esfahani is one of the great Iranian calligraphers in the field of inscriptions. There is a famous photograph of this artist, in which a handwritten tablet is displayed. Inspired by this photograph, I painted myself, while holding a tablet in my hands with a hanging rope. The text of the tablet refers to this poem of Nizami Ganjavi who says do not see the faults of others to reach beauty.
