A Man and a Woman

In this work, I illustrated an old man and woman who have spent their lives through many hardships. I used parallel lines to show hope in their eyes. I drew a branch of a sunflower whose leaves have dried, but the sunflower looks alive itself. This is a symbol of the safe and sound heart and brain in the life of this old couple. The lines and paints applied are all abstract, which gives an old feeling to the whole work. It is worth noting that brown colors, which represent wise and experienced people, are used in this painting.
